TRACT I: Water Filtration and Separation

The American Filtration and Separation Society in conjunction with the Water Quality Association is holding its second joint conference on water filtration and separation at the Turf Valley Hotel in Ellicott City, MD on October 4-7, 2010. Water is the largest single application for filtration and separation worldwide. This tract will continue the AFSS long history of addressing the most pressing issues in filtration and separation.

The program is well rounded, covering the latest technologies in home, municipal, industrial water treatment. It will include the prefiltration, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, adsorption, filter aids, etc. whether for use in the most modern industrializes countries or developing third world countries. The program will focus on solutions to the demanding challenges of providing clean water to meet the requirements of modern society with the diminishing quality and supply of fresh water. Any engineer, scientist, quality, marketing, sales or administrative person associated with or interest in water treatment will find this conference quite useful.

Keynote speakers are planned to introduce the latest information in the dynamic world of water treatment to meet the worldwide demand for quality water whether it be for drinking or industrial use or reuse.

Sessions Include:

  • Ion Exchange/Softening

These sessions will cover media, device, and systems technology and developments from the leading providers of filtration and separation solutions into the water treatment market

TRACT II: Filter Testing & Development; Procedures, Evaluation and Application

This fourth conference on “Filter Testing” will continue the long AFSS tradition of dealing with all aspects of filtration testing both for liquid and air.

The program will be well-rounded including test methods, procedures, evaluations and applications. Most types of filters will be addressed including filter aids, coalescers, and even equipment. Of course, conventional media, cartridge, bag and strainer testing will also be covered. Any plant or R&D engineer, QC personnel, test equipment suppliers, and test labs will find this conference quite useful.

Keystone speakers are planned to introduce the latest in filter testing methods and how they can be applied to real-life applications.

AFS Corporate Sponsors receive a 50% discount on conference sponsorships.

Tabletop Exhibitor

You can also display your products and meet with industry experts with a conference Tabletop display. This is a six foot table display that is located right outside the technical presentation rooms.

These displays are available for only $1000. AFS Corporate Sponsors receive a $250 discount for a fee of $750. There is a charge of $25 for electricity.

Tabletop Exhibit does not include conference registration.

AFS Corporate Sponsors receive a 25% discount on tabletop exhibits.
