DuPont Filtration Solutions offers NEW DuPont™ Hybrid Membrane Technology (HMT) nanofiber science to bridge the gap between nonwovens and microporous films plus Meltspun, Spunbond Polypropylene, Flashspun HDPE and Spunlace Filtration Media.
DuPont™ Hybrid Membrane Technology (HMT) uses a proprietary spinning process to create a membrane-like nonwoven sheet structure of continuous sub-micron polymeric filaments between 200- 600 nanometers that offers an optimum balance of lower flow resistance, tighter pore size and high dirt holding capacity for critical liquid and air filtration applications.
DuPont™ Meltspun Filtration Media is versatile technology available with alternate bonding configurations and finishing options that is well-suited for broad filtration applications. Media are available in a range of basis weights from 1- 5 osy.
DuPont™ Spunbond Polypropylene Filtration Media is food grade approved, CFR 21 compliant and USP Class VI certified making it ideal for filtration applications requiring support and drainage layers in pharmaceuticals, medical, food and beverage, and microelectronics applications. Media are available in a range of basis weights from 1- 6 osy.
DuPont Flashspun HDPE Filtration Media is engineered to allow a high liquid efficiency at a nominal rating of about 1 micron, even though the typical mean flow pore sizes range from 2-5 microns. This media can be used in pleated or stand alone filter cartridges for potable water, food, beverage, and chemical applications. Media are available in a range of basis weights from 1.2 - 3.2 osy.
DuPont Spunlace Filtration Media made from hydroentangling technology provides highly uniform and ultra-strong media in both the MD/CD directions. Media is available in 100% PET and PET blends with a range in basis weight from . 7 – 4.2 osy. |
