Seven prestigious AFS awards were presented on May 5th during the AFS awards luncheon:
The Senior Scientist Awards was presented to Dr. Dan Japuntich, 3M Company. This aware was established in 1999 and honors individuals in the middle of their filtration career.
The Frank Tiller Award was presented to Dr. Ray Collins, Dow Chemical. This award honors a lifetime of scientific and engineering achievement in the filtration industry.
The Wells Shoemaker Award honoring a lifetime of outstanding leadership and service to the AFS was presented to Mr. Lew Osterhoudt, Keystone Filter Division, Met-Pro Corporation.
The Fellow Member Award honoring superior contributions to the organization and leadership of AFS was presented to Dr. George Chase, University of Akron.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Ed Gregor, Edward C. Gregor and Associates.
