 Seven prestigious AFS awards were presented on May 20 during the AFS awards luncheon:
The Senior Scientist Awards was presented to Dr. Pedro Bastias, Dana Corporation. This aware was established in 1999 and honors individuals in the middle of their filtration career.
The Frank Tiller Award was presented to Dr. Jerry Liu, Cummins Emission Solutions. This award honors a lifetime of scientific and engineering achievement in the filtration industry.
The Wells Shoemaker Award honoring a lifetime of outstanding leadership and service to the AFS was presented to Don Olds, Olds Filtration Engineering
The Fellow Member Award honoring superior contributions to the organization and leadership of AFS was presented to Dr. Wallace Leung, Advantech Engineering and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dr. Tad Jaroszczyk, Cummins Filtration
Porex Filtration Division received the AFS New Product of the Year Award for their Tubular Membrane Module
Donaldson Company received the AFS Engineering Merit Award for the Torit WSO Mist Collector.
